Rada's Key Lime Sweet Dip Quick Mix

With the taste of bright sunshine, our key lime quick mix creates a scrumptious, smooth fruit dip or tangy cheesecake.

Mix with sour cream and cream cheese. (yields 2 cups)

FLORIDIAN SMOOTHIE

1 cup plain yogurt
1 cup frozen whipped topping
1/4 cup orange juice (or pineapple juice)
1 banana and 4 or 5 strawberries cut with Regular Paring Knife
3 Tbsp Key Lime Sweet Dip Quick Mix
1 cup ice

Combine ingredients in a blender. Mix until smooth.

FRUIT DIP

8 oz softened cream cheese
8 oz sour cream
1 pkg Key Lime Sweet Dip Quick Mix

Blend together cream cheese, sour cream and Key Lime gourmet dessert seasoning. Mix until smooth and creamy. Refrigerate at least one hour. Serve with fresh fruit slices.

KEY LIME CHEESEBALL

8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 Tbsp butter, softened
3 Tbsp + 1/2 tsp Key LimeSweet Dip Quick Mix

Mix together cream cheese and butter. Add Key Lime seasoning and blend well. Refrigerate one hour. Remove from refrigerator and form into a ball. (Optional: Roll in coconut or chopped, slivered almonds before serving.) Serve with the Party Spreader on graham crackers, bagels, or fruit.

KEY LIME CREAM PIE

1 package Key Lime Sweet Dip Quick Mix
1/4 cup cornstarch
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups milk, warmed
3 egg yolks
2 Tbsp butter
1 9-inch graham cracker crust
1 cup whipped cream

Combine seasoning, cornstarch and salt in top of double boiler. Gradually whisk in warm milk with Handi-Stir. Cook over simmering water, whisking constantly until mixture thickens, about 10 minutes.
Lightly beat egg yolk in small bowl. Slowly add 1/4 cup hot milk mixture to egg yolks. Mix well and pour egg yolk mixture back into the double boiler. Cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Add butter and stir until butter has melted. Pour into pie shell and chill until set, about 90 minutes. Top with whipped topping. Serve with Serrated Pie Server.

NO-BAKE CHEESECAKE

8 oz softened cream cheese
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup whipped topping
1 pkg Key Lime Sweet Dip Quick Mix
1 9-inch graham cracker pie crust

Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add Key Lime gourmet dessert seasoning and sour cream and blend until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spoon into prepared crust. Cover and refrigerate one hour before serving. Serve with Serrated Pie Server.
